Pete the Cat

The Kindergarteners read and sang Pete the Cat this week. If you have not read it, I highly recommend  it, along with the downloadable song. It is so much fun! It's a song that will stick with you - in a good way!

I love how these turned out for the 1st graders! First they painted them - they tried to incorporate line and pattern. Once the were dry, we went over them with black marker to define the shapes and really make them pop!
